Glaze mixing mistake: always take a sample and make a test tile before fixing the mistake. This was a glaze that was usually quite a chalky matte bluebglaze with bits of sugar like crystals. Added too much gerstley borate and decided to draw a test tile before fixing it. I'm in love with this new glaze. The feel is butter smooth and has both satin and shine as you can see – the chemistry also changed the blue to this green mint – holy crow.
