Trimming a pot that has been ore-altered often provides some issues. Sometimes I can just trim without redefining the shape, here however, I chose to take a metal rub and sponge to smooth out the trimmed edge near the bottom angle of the pot before the actual foot ring. Just trimming a pot in the wheel may not be the end of the “trim” sont be afraid to continue to “finish” the pot. I do love #trimming or turning.
