This mug is a combo of relics collection and midnight oasis – with sanded bottom where glaze has run to the foot.
With this particular glaze combo, there is always a risk of severe runs whcih also make it really delicious.  I had to give this one a special sanding/grinding of the bottom

The Relics collection series is drenched in warm sand and caramel tones. As if each piece was unearthed in an excavation, a time long before the present day. They are carved with both bold and subtle patterns using a technique known as scraffito, a carving through a coloured clay called slip which then reveals the natural clay under the glazes
